The Amazing Race Asia 3 Official Winners
Update: I hate to say I told you so, Sam and Vince won The Amazing Race Asia 3! The Final 3 are: Ida & Tania, Geoff & Tisha, Sam & Vince. Now my prediction is almost complete! I am “almost certainly sure” (33% sure?) that Team Hong Kong Sam and Vince (Best Buddies) will win The Amazing Race Asia 3 (TARA 3) race. They have been very competitive so far and they have a big chance in winning the race. Wohoo!
Learning from Amazing Race Asia 2 (which kept everybody guessing who the winner would be, and ended up with a really surprising twist). But before the race ended, Colin and Adrian were already on a Sony TV ad, which really made me think, why chose them when Team Philippines Marc and Rovilson was the stronger team at the time?

I think the winners are chosen to represent the major sponsor, Sony, on their TV commercial. Just think of it as an indirect way of showing the winners beforehand.

i don’t mind it if sam & vince are the winners, as long as Geoff & tish plus ida & tania are in the top 3.
The TARA 1 launch party was held in Malaysia and the Malaysia team won. Same with TARA 2 launch party held in Singapore and the Singapore team won. The TARA 3 launch party was held in the Philippines last Sep-08 so there must be a reason behind that. They can choose to launch in Hongkong but why in the Philippines?
Please don’t forget that Rovilson (Philippines) and Vanessa (Malaysia) also got a Sony commercial since they are 3rd and 2nd placers respectively.

i really hope vince & sam win the race since they are really a solid team. they know how to finish the leg quickly. such a good example of cooperative team. they are not like geoff & tisha, whom i think will be eliminated before they could enter the final leg.
ida and tania should win! i am ok with vince and sam too! just not geoff and tisha…..
nahhh….solid?? last episodes b4 season finale…look at sam..too weak..vince seems like wanna punch sam face bcos cannot finish and lucky on them cos singapore team also cant finish it..(thx to fuzzie…pity a.d..they got chances to be top 3)
The finale 3; Ida & Tania, Geoff & Tisha, Sam & Vince..very difficult to predict whose gonna win the race, just like sam & vince that we knew they’re doing good so far but this week..but i hope the malaysian team will do the best for the final
though i love sam and vince for being a good sport my loyalty is still with my co-filipinos, geoff and tisha is an amazing team!!! they’ll win!!!
as far as i remember, marc and rovilson had a sony ad as well..
yup sam and vince did won the contest. im most certain because again for the same views above-the sony ad featuring them. the release of the bernie-henry version is meant to sway people form thinking of sam and vince as the winners (although im am equally rooting for them for their wits and strategies), choosing them hightime when only three teams are left is an absolute indication. why not ida and tania or goeff and tish, all of which are equally good looking?anyway, kudos to sam and vince.

that’s true that they have a commercial but so does bernie and henry, the brother and sister team that got eliminated about two weeks ago. they also have a sony commercial being shown in axn.
I’m sorry but I don’t think this ad completely assures Sam and Vince are the winning team. Nonetheless, I really like them, I think they’ve come a long way to get such an opportunity. I’d love it if the Malaysian team wins! If it’s not them, then I really hope Sam and Vince do instead. These two teams are so entertaining to watch and they to me, are evenly matched. I don’t mind if Geoff and Tisha win, but I just don’t think they deserve it as much as Ida-Tania and Sam-Vince really do…
Tish and Geoff are the winners. Gino Ruffino accidentally spilled the word Congratulations to tish and geoff during one of the episodes of hard ball last week.
about the sony commercial, almost all participants appear on sony commercials. Henrie and Bernie also have their sony commercial, and they’re not the winners.
The commercial is not a basis to know who won.

They dont have good sportsmanship and their attitude is not a good example to the younger generation.
as much as I want team Philippines to win TARA 3. I beleive that Team Hong Kong is the the lucky team to win it. Because of their Sony commercial. It also state there on the lower right side that they are the Amazing team from Hong Kong. Which means they won TARA 3.

that’s what i think why? because in the past seasons, 2nd placers in leg 10 became winners of race. 3rd placers in leg 10 became 2nd over-all and 1st placers on leg 10 are the last teams to arrive.

i rily hope geoff & tisha wins! they deserved it just like the rest coz they have gone through the same hurdles & tried harder even if others prejudged them. if ever geoff sounds suplado at times bt thats the way he is & nothng wrong with being frank & demonstrative. i was heartbroken when marc/rov didnt win in tara2.
just the same i am happy with the final 3 line up. they were determined & resilient but being a true pinoy my wishes are for geoff & tisha! GO TEAM PHILS! good luck to all 3 teams!

Why is it that the Amazing Race Asia could never feature local and authentic citizens of each country?
It would be much more interesting to see true Filipinos racing than to have a New Zealander represent a country so rich in history and civilisation. Same for teams Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, etc etc etc.
As if we don’t see enough caucasians from the american version of Amazing Race… duh

They are good people but hello? they talk about helping each other with Geoff and Tisha but they left …(Counting of the contents of the sack) they suggested it in the first place.
i dnt think vince and sam deserve to win the race since they didn’t even finish the last task last epi so i would rather go for geoff and tish coz they finish their task even if they are the last.. its just my opinion and im so ecited to see whose gonna win the race hopefully team phil will win.. =)
i definitely agree about the advertisement thingy because i noticed that too… albeit that fact, i wasn’t so convinced about the advertisement rumor because a few Saturday nights ago i was watching Sports Unlimited… Diane C. was interviewing Geoff about the race and Geoff said, “beat that, Mark and Geoff…” so i wasn’t pretty sure what he really meant by that statement…. was it because they ended either team number 1 or team number 2 and definitely not team number 3?
well bernie and henry also got a sony HD commercial here in singapore but they got eliminated……
but still the final 3 teams are great!

Whoever wins the race deserves it. I’ve read a post that says:
“I don’t mind if Geoff and Tisha win, but I just don’t think they deserve it as much as Ida-Tania and Sam-Vince really do…”
And they deserve it more because…? That sucks. I think no team is less deserving than the others. Just because team Philippines was chaotic at times doesn’t mean they’re already less deserving. They’ve worked hard to be in the finale and that’s it.
What I want:
1st – Sam and Vince
2nd – Geoff and Tisha
3rd – Ida and Tania
What I think will happen:
1st – Geoff and Tisha
2nd – Ida and Tania
3rd – Sam and Vince
i think geoff and tisha could win the race cause they are so tuff than other teams… and they are so competitive team. go team philipplines. mabuhay tara3….

Just a different opinion regarding the Sony Ad. I think Sam and Vince were used as endorses of the digitalcam because they won this product when they finished first in leg no. 5. Bernie and Henry were the endorsers of the handycam because they won this when they were the first to finish in either leg 2 or 3 (can’t remember which leg it was exactly).
Geoff and Tisha won each a Bravia and a Playstation for finishing first in leg no. 7. I just wonder when their commercial for those products will be, if one was made in the first place! Hehe.
Anyway, I just think that the producers of this show would not repeat the same mistake they did last season because I’m quite sure they were criticized for that by the fans.
And of course, I’d like Geoff and Tisha to win this season! We’ll all know by Thursday. :)
hopefully ida n tania will win.

I think Geoff and Tisha deserves to win….seriously…the true meaning of the race is not really to make friends out of everybody…it’s all about strategy and luck….they played the game well….they had strategy….
….but, i don’t mind if sam and vince or ida and tania will win….
yeah, same thoughts here. I think vince and sam won. Their Sony commercial was the first one for TAR3, then after several days it came the Bernie and Henri Sony commercial. Same thing happened last season. Anyways, too bad or Geoff and Tish. I wanted them to win.

im really sobbing over spilled milk….. wanted so bad for tish and geoff to win it for the country. they were so close. they were also the funniest, though i do think they need some mending to do with a.d. and fuzzie.
geoff and tish, i hope the thought of winning 2nd place wont taunt you senseless. you did great and we can tell you enjoyed the whole experience. :-)

but it would have been more exciting if the penalty was after the race and not before the race…
the 4 hours penalty was reduce to around 2 hours because the next clue wont be available after 8:00 AM…
now what if ida and tania left 2:15 AM and geof and tisha left 2:30 AM… this means that sam and vince will be leaving around 6:45 AM… and then all of them will be together waiting for the 8:00 AM…
if i was ad and fuzzie, when i saw vince /sam couldn’t cross that cliff, i would have taken that penalty…
anyway, i think ida and tania really deserves to win… they completed all the challenges and they really worked as a team…
geof and tisha are cool and deserves to win too… geof should have more patience with tisha… they could have worked better as a team at the kayaking…

Ugh! Who cares about them? I ain’t like the teams for this season. They’re so boring! I haven’t even watched the last episode. I hope, TARA4 will have competitors who are more interesting than in the past seasons, and I hope that in the next season, an all-girl team will win! :D Yatta! And also, I wish TAR US or Asian version will make Teen Edition for it! And when it does, I wanna be one of the racers. :)
They had great team work and worth winning this race.Tiss and Geoff will piss me off if they win they have attitude prob. I rather ida and her team win instead.
