PayPal for the Philippines now available

Good News! PayPal is now available for Philippine users. But it is still very limited. I can only send money but I cannot receive / request money. I hope they will allow payments to be received very soon so I can accept more clients. I was able to open an account with the help of my epassporte virtual debit card.
There where speculations that Philippines was initially removed from the PayPal list because of possible fraudulent activities and/or our local banking system is limited. Thank God PayPal finally reopened their doors to the Philippines, probably as a part of their efforts to keep their advantage over Google Checkout.
I will post again soon for any updates. At least I can now do online payments that requires PayPal.

Paypal really opened the doors for the Philippines but there is a bad effect in our economy since it only allows sending money. All transactions is going out and money is leaving our country, our economy suffers.
