LA Lakers Lead, 2-0

The second game of the NBA Finals was held at the Los Angeles Lakers home court. It was a game that I have looked forward to watch. I missed a lot of games in the semis and I was glad I could watch this one even though I had an appointment to the Department of Foreign Affairs this morning.

During the first and third quarters, both teams showed their determination to win through the scores that often tied. It was a very close battle. On the fourth quarter, not one of the teams want to give a distant lead as they tied up at the score of 88 points. If Turkoglu was not able to block Bryant’s 2-point shot, the ballgame could have already favored the Lakers by a 2-point lead in the last quarter. It was unfortunate for the Lakers that Bryant’s attempt to lead the Lakers to victory was intercepted by the fast blocking stunt of Torkuglu. As a result, there was a 5-minute overtime.

I was not able to watch the overtime due to my DFA appointment but when I got home, I watched the rest of the game on the Internet and learned that the game was at the Lakers advantage.
