Carbonite Online Backup Service

I bumped into a good friend in college and we ended up eating dinner together. We talked about a lot of things from family, work, school and more. We were both in the IT industry and any new-found knowledge or information that we gathered should definitely be shared. He told me that he had once lost a laptop where a lot of his important files which he can not afford to lose have been stored.

The good thing was that he had protected himself with the Carbonite Online Backup Service. He further explained that it installs a small application on your computer that automatically and securely backs up new and changed contents such as financials, music, business contacts, emails and photos. Carbonite works in the background so it does not interfere with your activities when you are using your computer but it automatically performs its task of backing up files when your PC is not used. It also uses the encryption technology used by banks so that your files remain private and secure.

Carbonite Online Backup Service also has an official YouTube channel where customers can learn more about the product and where current users can look for videos on helpful tips and updates such as How to Change the Options in Your Carbonite Infocenter, How to Add Files and Folders to Your Backup and many more.

With what I have learned about Carbonite, I’m thinking of protecting myself with this service.
