Part Three of Boys Over Flowers
Because of what happened, President Kang made Jan Di’s life and the lives of the people around Jan Di more miserable. To stop President Kang’s move to destroy her and the people she loves, Jan Di made an agreement to President Kang that she will leave Jun Pyo and never come back. Jan Di decided to follow her parents and brother in a distant province and lived with them. It broke Jun Pyo’s heart and made him very miserable. He engaged in constant drinking, had a lot of women and was even imprisoned. It was also at this point when Secretary Jang, her mother’s assistant, let Jun Pyo and her older sister know the truth about their father. Their father was actually alive but in a coma. It hurt both siblings and it worsened their anger to their mother.
On the other hand, Jan Di continued to survive despite the hardships she was experiencing. With a twist of fate, Ji Hoo saw Jan Di on television when she was incidentally featured while selling fish at the marketplace. Ji Hoo informed the F4 about Jan Di’s location and told them that he will go and see Jan Di. He asked Jun Pyo if he will go to Jan Di, but Jun Pyo exclaimed that there is no point on seeing Jan Di anymore. When Ji Hoo reached the place, he proposed to Jan Di and asked her to marry him by giving her the ring that was originally owned by her grandmother and was later passed on to her mother. It was a family heirloom. Jan Di didn’t accept Ji Hoo’s love because her heart was still beating for Jun Pyo. Ji Hoo accepted his defeat but promised Jan Di that he will always be there for her.
