More On Boys Over Flowers

Her first confrontation with the F4 happened when her friend accidentally spilled ice cream on the shoes of the F4′s leader Gu Jun Pyo, who is also the heir to the Shinhwa Group of Companies. Jun Pyo demanded that Jan Di’s friend lick off the ice cream on his shoes. Jan Di got enraged and turned violent, knocking Jun Pyo to the ground. Jun Pyo declared war between him and Jan Di and ordered the other students to bully Jan Di. The bullying made Jan Di even stronger and continued to stand by her decision to fight against the F4.

This was the first time that Jun Pyo encountered such a high-spirited soul like Jan Di. Eventually, he fell deeply in-love with her and wooed her until her feelings for her former love interest, Ji Hoo, was fully transferred to Jun Pyo.

Many obstacles arose as Jan Di and Jun Pyo fell deeply in-love with each other. When Jun Pyo’s mother, President Kang, learned about their love affair, she made drastic moves to keep the two apart including bringing Jun Pyo to Macau where the latter met his supposedly fiancee, Ha Jae Kyung, whom his mother had arranged for him. The marriage was decided for the merger of the two companies. Jan Di, Ji Hoo, Yi Jung and Woo Bin also went to Korea to visit Jun Pyo. When all the cast went back to Korea, Jae Kyung eventually became Jan Di’s friend and constantly shares to Jan Di about her feelings for Jun Pyo. Jan Di is ready to give up Jun Pyo for Jae Kyung but Jun Pyo wouldn’t allow her and continued to show how much he loves Jan Di. Jae Kyung learned about this and on the day of their wedding, she backed out and thus, discontinuing the merger.
