Proof of UFOs in Religious Art

I have always been amazed by the existence of UFOs and Aliens and their strange appearances on ancient texts and paintings. Movies like Stargate (where the god Ra is actually an Alien) and AVP - Alien versus Predator (where the Predators were gods of ancient Aztec civilization) gave us a general idea of a highly advanced race of alien beings from some distant galaxy came to earth and helped increase our knowledge and technology. Some even say that the bright shining star that appeared on the night Jesus was born was actually an alien craft, giving the idea of Jesus as an alien from another world.

A book entitled “The Alien Chronicles” by Matthew Hurley suggests that UFOs really does exist, even during the Renaissance. Saucer-like images that appear on the sky behind several religious paintings points to some new theory that Christianity is somehow influenced by these Aliens that came to earth during the early years of Christianity.

This painting, “Battesimo di Cristo” by Aert de Gelder shows the Baptism of Christ. On first glance you wouldn’t notice anything peculiar as your mind tells you that this is just a religious painting of an important event in Christianity where God announced to the world that Jesus is his Son (Matthew 3:16-17; See also Mark 1:9-11, Luke 3:21-22, and John 1:32-34).

But if you look again, you will see that the saucer figure in the sky could actually be an alien spacecraft! Does this mean that Jesus could be an Alien? (There is a new religion that follows this belief, The Raëlian Church or International Raëlian Movement). There are more images like these and here is another example “Le Marie Al Sepolcro”,

This painting shows a huge dome-shaped craft hovering above the Tomb of Jesus where Mary Magdalene came to visit His Tomb where an Angel also appeared.

Now, does this prove that aliens does exist the people in the Medieval Times knew about it?

If you are too lazy to do some research or you immediately believe on any new theory you see on the Internet, here is a link that will give you another reason why these images appear on old religious paintings and the real truth behind it. Here is one example that refutes the idea of a UFO in “Le Marie Al Sepolcro”.

Now you can say that it really pays to research especially if some new radical idea is found on the Internet or seen all over the news.
