Smorty hates PayPerPost?

Yes. Smorty does not want you to have any blog assignment from PayPerPost.
Here is the note from Smorty when accepting a blog assignment “There have been some recent changes that Google have made with regard to sponsored postings… Google has primarily targeted PayPerPost member blogs and reduced their Page ranks across the board… To prevent any future loss of page rank due to this issue you can take the following steps…” If you have a Smorty account you will see the rest of the instructions.
In the other hand PayPerPost insists that a disclosure must be present when doing sponsored posts because “Our disclosure requirements are designed to comply with FTC regulations that state: “When there exists a connection between the endorser and the seller of the advertised product which might materially affect the weight or credibility of the endorsement (i.e., the connection is not reasonably expected by the audience) such connection must be fully disclosed.” [source]

I couldn’t help but agree with Smorty on the PR drop reason. Because of sponsored reviews from sites that requires a disclosure, coupled with link exchange and selling links forum posts from the Digital Point Forum, my site suffered a great deal of PR downgrade from PR4 to PR0 because Google hates people manipulating search engine results.
But in fairness to PayPerPost, they just wanted to be follow what the government requires when doing buzz marketing by paid post reviews. The only downside is that Google will definitely punish your site PageRank if you are found doing paid blog post assignments.
So which would you choose, Smorty or PayPerPost?
