ABOUT THE MOVIE
Marco meets Lianne who seems to be the perfect girl for him. But he gets to know Divina through the phone, and there, love blooms through the wires. They plan to meet, but time comes in between–Divina is in 1957, which means they are 49 years apart. What could be behind the mystery of their love?
MY MOVIE REVIEW
The story of Moments of Love is wonderful although it is impossible to ever happen in the real world. It really reminded me of the Korean movies I used to watch with all the twists and unexpected surprises. Some people say its a copycat of Sky of Love, starring Ken Zhou. I haven’t seen the other movie yet, but nevertheless, the movie is great and one of the best romantic pinoy movie I have seen so far.
Update (June 2006): There is a very similar movie entitled: The Lake House, starring Keannu Reaves and Sandra Bullock. This time they are both 2 years apart and the communication is done through a mailbox.
…and I thought American movies have original story lines.
