Christmas Wish List : Mobile Phones
Posted on December 17th, 2007 | |
I have had so many cellphones over the years, I have used phones made by Alcatel, Sony Ericsson, Siemens, and Nokia. So far the phone that has the best interface is Nokia while others are hard to navigate the first time. That is probably why most of the phone I had were from Nokia.
Since it’s Christmas season, I have decided to check out new products online and on stores to see which phone should I buy in case I feel the urge to replace my phone.
Here are my top 3 picks for the best recommended phones for christmas.
Apple iPhone - This is perhaps my most coveted phone of the year. Since it’s official release last June this year, I have been searching online for cheaper second hand iPhones. There are also several cracked versions of iPhones where you can use it on Philippine Cellular Networks. There are also new Chinese versions of iPhones with added features like TV and radio. Too bad iPhones currently doesn’t have any 3G support I will have to wait till next year when they will release their new versions to the international market. Price: USD$399 or only PHP16,000 because of the very low exchange rate this Christmas season
Nokia Nseries N95 - How I wish I can sell my Kodak EasyShare V530 so I can buy this great 5 Megapixel 3G Camera Phone. It is still as big as my N70 but hey, with that features, it’s worth it. Man, if you have seen the TV ads, it looks this is one of the most advanced mobile phone released by Nokia this year. Should I buy one? If I have money, why not? Price USD$550 or PHP22,000.
HTC Touch Dual. This is what I call a Microsoft Windows version of Apple iPhone. It’s touch screen and it supports 3G. I haven’t seen this on the Philippine Market yet but I would really love to buy this if 1) This becomes available and 2) This is cheaper than Apple iPhone. It doesn’t have the high quality 5MP camera of N95, but that’s fine with me. It also has a sliding keypad which is useful in case I don’t feel using touch screen. Price: USD$720 or PHP29,000. That is almost worth 1 decent laptop!
