About the movie:
Regal Entertainment and GMA Films, two of the biggest names in Philippine entertainment industry, have a lovely Valentine gift to moviegoers: a heartwarming film starring the phenomenal tandem of Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin shot in breathtaking San Francisco! The movie is I Will Always Love You and it will be shown in theaters nationwide starting Feb. 8.
Indeed, I Will Always Love You is so big in terms of scope, expenses, and production values that two renowned film companies needed to come together to make it possible. Regal Entertainment’s seasoned film producer Mother Lily Monteverde and her daughter Roselle Monteverde-Teo worked hand in hand with GMA Films’ dynamic head honcho Annette Gozon-Abrogar. The result is one that combines the wisdom of experience and the energy of youth.
The story speaks of the timeless conflict of “rich boy-poor girl” set in the vibrant and modern cities of Manila and San Francisco. Justin, a spoiled brat from the city, falls head over heels in love with Cecile, a beautiful, kind-hearted girl from the province. When Justin’s parents try to break the relationship by sending him to the US, Justin finds a way of bringing Cecile along.
In San Francisco, Cecile and Justin learn to love each other the best way they can. Cecile learns to be more considerate and thoughtful to Justin, while Justin discovers the value of hard work; he even takes on blue-collar jobs and pawns his very expensive watch so he can support himself and Cecile.
