Baguio Weekend Getaway (December 10-11, 2005)

So we went to Baguio to have a quick tour around the place. We left Manila at 1130am and arrived at 650pm. We checked in at the Belfrant Hotel (General Luna Road, Baguio City) , and then we had dinner and rested for tomorrow’s activity. The hotel costs P1500 per room.

PRESCRIBING CERTAIN CIVIC AND ETHICAL PRINCIPLES TO BE TAUGHT IN ALL SCHOOLS IN THE PHILIPPINES

Whereas, section five of Article XIII of the Constitution provides that all schools shall aim to develop moral character, personal discipline, civic conscience, and to teach the duties of citizenship;

Whereas, in order to comply with the above constitutional provision, it is necessary that a Code of Citizenship and Ethics be adopted and taught in the schools;

Whereas, pending the formulation of such a code by a committee representing the various elements of the community and the adoption thereof, it is essential that the schools should at once take steps in order to effectuate the mandate of the Constitution in this respect; Continue reading »

1st Every Action done in Company, ought to be with Some Sign of Respect, to those that are Present.

2nd When in Company, put not your Hands to any Part of the Body, not usualy Discovered.

3rd Shew Nothing to your Freind that may affright him.

4th In the Presence of Others Sing not to yourself with a humming Noise, nor Drum with your Fingers or Feet.

5th If You Cough, Sneeze, Sigh, or Yawn, do it not Loud but Privately; and Speak not in your Yawning, but put Your handkercheif or Hand before your face and turn aside. Continue reading »
