I have been watching the AXN exclusive Amazing Race Asia Season 2 ever since they started the race. I never missed all the episodes aired every Thursday and I always check the AXN site and forums for news, spoilers and images of the race.

Marc and Rovilson has been my favorite team ever since they started the race, they always managed to stay on top of the race, outsmarting and outrunning everyone. They managed to grab a total of USD20,000 from Standard Chartered, free gas for a whole year from Caltex and 4 Sony Handycams for arriving first on the pitstop and a tour to South Africa (for arriving first on the 11th leg) sponsored by Caltex.
They have been in 1st place (8 times) and 2nd place (3 times) on all 11 legs of the race. If they win, they really deserved it! I doubt that any team on any Amazing Race franchise has ever maintained their top spot like Mark and Rovilson. One more thing, I have never seen them argue with each other which is really cool for the team to be united all the way. I could see that they are enjoying everything, and making the best out of the experience.
There were also news that love is in the air where Rovilson is dating Vanessa (you can see in the Sony Cybershot smile shutter camera TV ad that they were paired together) and Mark is dating Paula (try Googling this for yourself to know more). Update: Here are pictures of Rovilson and Vanessa and Mark and Paula together, and it looks these pictures were taken after the race. I don’t know who took it or uploaded it, I just found it.

Who won? Although the filming started as early as July last year, nobody ever talked about it to keep the excitement going. It was only when I visited a forum where there is a spoiler on who won the race and it says that Marc and Rovilson won the Amazing Race Asia 2. Here is an excerpt from a forum:

Mind you, this is NOT OFFICIAL, and could probably be just a rumor that Marc said they won. But If this is true, then great! I am very excited even more to see the rest of the race and on how they managed to outrun Colin and Adrian on the succeeding legs. Anyway, congratulations to the winners, whoever they will be!

If this story is real, Marc will be in BIGGGG trouble for breaching the agreement and he will get a big fat fined letter from AXN…be careful guys if you posts any information….you dont want to put the racer in such trouble…

Well, I wanted Marc and Rovilson to win too. But I saw something different on Wikipedia earlier this morning…
Wikipedia was already showing the result of the twelfth leg which had Vanessa and sister coming in first, then Marc and Rovilson second, then the gym buds third.
I can’t believe my eyes and I checked what the activities were but there were none posted yet, but the latest episode (leg 11) was described in detail. Thinking that there might be something wrong with this, I clicked on some of the external links and when I went back to the TARA2 entry on wikipedia the twelfth leg entries were already removed.
This might have broken AXN’s confidentiality-code-whatever that’s why it was removed after a few minutes.
There were other people at work who saw the article and I can say that we are sure of what we saw.
Well, I’m still hoping for the best for Marc and Rov…who knows what happened this morning…

Wikipedia? Anybody can edit wiki. I had same experience in TAR11. It was posted C/M 1st, D/K 2nd and E/D 3rd, bt when I refreshed the page, it was gone. I was shocked, because the season finale was not yet aired by then. But this was proved wrong, because Eric and Danielle won the TAR 11.
I really do hope Marc and Rovilson wins!

i really wish marc and rovilson won the race.. they worked hard enough they deserve it,but well, luck was just not on their side at that moment…so bad… i personally felt dissapointed coz i’m dying to see them win from the beggining of the race…

I love Marc, he is so handsome and charming and he should be on the stage!! Pity then these pretty guys didn’t make it. But I would love to see Marc again in any moments on TV!! Love You!!

im not happy that the singapore team won…tsk tsk tsk,,,if only marc did that roadblock they must have won…too bad,,,well maybe the force was not with them at that time,,,hahaha,,,still they had a lot of prizes,,,i hope rovilson will pay more attention to geography ayt??

i’m very disappointed that marc and rovilson didn’t won the amazing race asia 2. I was really hoping they will win. They have waht it takes to be the perfect team to be the 1st in pit stop all the time. Even though they won a lot of prizes, the title of winning the race is what they’ve been longing. And to think that they are the 3RD. IS VERY FRUSTRATING. Their MOUNT EVEREST was not even close. if only MARC NIELSON did the road block… then they should have won…. NO OFFENSE TO ROVILSON who did an amazing job by the way.. It’s just that…. grrr…. THEY SHOULD HAVE WON…

I felt so depress last night after the final season of TARA 2,.. I really hoped Marc & Rovilson would win the race but they end up third place only. And they recieved so much negative comments being “slicky” or what so ever…. if only Marc did the final roadblock (what a shame) but, I still felt good when they we’re running to finish the race they were holding a Philippine flag with them. Still GO team Philippines!! ^_^

i did not go with my date last night just to watch the finale,,hoping it would be mark and rovi,,too bad they did not win!!it really breaks my heart!!im still in a depress state=(

holy crap!!! i felt so damn dissapointed the moment that marc & rovilson didnt come in first at the last pitstop. DANG!! it really ripped my heart off. *sobs* :c ugh! they were supposed to win! dang it. if only marc had done the road block then they were 200% sure winners! they came so far ahead than d oder 2 teams.. so it was really quite disappointing. uhh.. o well! they’re still the true winners for me at heart.
& it made me proud when dey carried the phil flag. go team philippines! pinoys rule!

a new theory just hit me when the truth about the winners came. Still i just can’t get over the fact that MARC & ROVILSON didn’t win. I was thinking that maybe… just maybe that the last episode was SCRIPTED. I don’t know call me paranoid or something. But there’s no way collin and adrian would make it. they were the last on the roadblock and look at how he just shoot the flags on their container. It’s so impossible….
Do you think that maybe… just maybe that marc & rovilson just give it all away because the TARA said so.
Think of it… The LAST PITSTOP is in SINGAPORE…. and the winners are from SINGAPORE…
Was it a COINCIDENCE or just what really made to happen by TARA…
I don’t know…
I just know that MARC & ROVILSON will always be the winners for me, they’ve proven it throughtout the race. If they are neck to neck with collin & adrian, there’s no doubt there are still the BEST….
